Whatever your feeling on the subject of enforced romance this Valentine’s Day, we can at least all agree that there’s no better form of enforced romance than Miss Cilla Black’s Blind Date. The 80s/90s classic TV programme, beloved by many, is getting another airing this time at Manchester’s best (and only) chat show Sham Bodie. Only its third event at The Castle, Sham Bodie has fast established itself as a unique home for comedy, music and a good feed. This month they offer up the winner of last year’s BBC New Comedy Award, Steve Bugeja, plus the fingerpicking magic of singer songwriter John Ainsworth and the cerebral vortex of Jack Evans as well as a trip down memory lane with host Ben Tonge as he sees which lucky lady will be going home with one very lucky fella. It’s a great night out that gives you a bit of everything, including some enforced romance. To be in with a chance of claiming a couple of tickets for this amazing gig then enter our competition. Simply send the answer to the question below, plus your name, age, phone number and twitter handle – in an email (subject line ‘Sham Bodie competition’) to competitions at manchesterwire dot co dot uk.
