After spinning the wax with DJ Harvey in October, Manchester-based disco and funk duo the Unabombers bring their Electric Chair night to FAC 251 for an end of year riot – a night whose credentials could easily make this a punter’s club of the year. After starting around 1993, Electric Chair has bowled over clubbing legends such as Joe Claussell and Laurent Garnier with its energy and soul, and have previously invited the likes of Crazy P, Move D and PBR Streetgang. This year they’ll be joined by the spacey house sounds of French DJ/producer Francois K, techno thumps of Paul Woolford, and disco-tinged house of Maurice Fulton, amongst a quality line-up. It might be late for Christmas, but you can’t doubt this is a generous gift from this duo.
