Swing Ting’s DJ Platt rounds up the clubs of the week in Manchester with Murlo and Deadboy, Mala and Coki, Charlie Bones and Spooky playing between Tuesday 10 and Saturday 14 March. Busy week on the dancefloor.

Wed 11 Mar | Murlo & Deadboy (pictured) | South
Lord Of The Tings follow up last month’s smash event featuring Crazy Cousinz with a huge double header in the shape of Murlo and Deadboy. Both artists have been killing it in their own right, but have also been collaborating recently, creating some of 2015’s freshest music. As well as DJing separately on the night, they’ll be performing a special back to back dancehall set, something I’m very much looking forward to.

Thu 12 Mar | Mala & Coki | Mint Lounge
This one’s already sold out, but rumour has it that there’ll be around 50 left on the door, so turn up super early if you want to get involved! Two of dubstep’s true pioneers take over Mint Lounge for what promises to be a hugely rowdy affair. Joining the pair are Chimpo & Fox and Dub Phizix & Strategy – you know this’ll be a party.

Fri 13 Mar | Charlie Bones | The Roadhouse
So Flute welcome Do!! You!!! Records bossman and one of the jewels in NTS Radio’s crown, Charlie Bones to The Roadhouse. Expect eclectic selections in the best possible sense, backed up by the So Flute residents and the mighty MC Kwasi.

Sat 14 Mar | Spooky | Soup Kitchen
Known for his explosive grime sets, Spooky is easily one of the best in the game right now. But give him a whole night, and you’ll see what a ridiculously talented DJ this guy is. From reggae to garage to grime and dubstep, Spooky’s record collection would be the envy of pretty much anyone, and he’s got the skills to back it up. All signs point to this being an amazing experience.
