Manchester Clubs: Lee Foss at Gorilla

It’s like Christmas in the summertime as Covert & Exploit pull another cracker out of the bag for their weekly Gorilla residency, this time in the shape of Lee Foss. The Chicago-born DJ has a strong reputation for continuing the city’s house music legacy, bringing the Illinoise both with his own sets and through his Creations label, through which a plethora of other DJs have made their name. Manchester can expect another Saturday night of upbeat vibes under the Whitworth Street train line’s arches, with Foss’s fusion of Detroit techno-heavy house proving its popularity in last year’s Resident Advisor DJ poll; rocketing him into the top 100 as the highest new entrant at number 36.
