Start of Wonder Women Festival 2016
This local, Creative Tourist-backed feminist festival kicks off its packed programme this week. You may have already seen festival organiser Stevie Mackenzie Smith pick her Top 3 events from the festival, but there’s also plenty of free stuff going on throughout. Some of the free highlights on the first day of the festival includes an evening of discussion hosted by Instigate Arts at Manchester Art Gallery on the subject of clothing and its effect on female identity, and a festival exhibition launch at Soup Kitchen.
