Aiming to satiate a hunger for a musical niche that people are crying out for, Discolypso makes it debut at Band On The Wall spinning the best in jump up Latin, Afrobeat and Tropical Disco flavours. Aiming to capture the essence of Caribbean dance floors, selectors Simon Ham and Will T will fuse Nigerian and Ghanian Afrobeat with American Afro-Latin beats and Caribbean disco boogie. Uplifting, inspiring and, I imagine, tropically sweaty.
