Young club institution Loose Lips have established a solid reputation for themselves when it comes to house, techno and bass, but their latest Manchester party focuses solidly on the current state of UK hip hop: Strong. Liverpool-founded label Blah Records has been one of the most consistent labels in recent years, with particular highlights being releases from Manchester stalwarts Herrotics and Black Josh, but this will be their first label showcase in Manchester. Head honcho Lee Scott throws his weight in the ring for the evening, joined by hometown hero Josh together with Sumgii, Morriarchi, Bisk and Sleazy F Baby. It’s a titanic line-up and well worth the support of Manchester’s discerning but embracing hip hop crowd. Support from the Loose Lips crew including Caskavet, Gormless, Treece and Medallion Man.
