With Dry January in the rear view mirror it’s time to put your dancing shoes on and bliss out to some balearic beats at Lazy Lizard this weekend. Now into their third month of operation the Printworks based Ibizan lounge is showing no signs of slowing down with some of the biggest names in dance music coming to the city to play. This weekend as well as free club night Future Thursdays they welcome Ministry of Sound with Matthias Tanzmann in tow and a Saturday night with Jazzie B thanks to Soul Heaven.
Thu 1 Feb: Future Thursdays
Starting the weekend early as usual Future Thursdays brings the best in Ibizan’s resident club DJs to Manchester for FREE. Residents Oliver Lang (Bora Bora) and Steeve Valverde (Es Paradis) will be joined by Disco Kid for an pre-weekend mash up of future grooves.

Fri 2 Feb: Ministry of Sound presents Matthias Tanzmann
Deep house practitioner Matthias Tanzmann, usually found at DC10 in Ibiza as resident for the Circo Loco Crew, si coming to Manchester courtesy of club tastemakers Ministry of Sound. Supported by Ayman Awad the massively influential Tanzmann will be threading together elongated grooves, subtle melodies and infectious basslines for a banging soundtrack to your Friday night.

Sat 3 Feb: Soul Heaven with Jazzie B
There aren’t many more revered in the dance music world than Jazzie B. The driving force behind the Soul II Soul Collective and known as ‘the man who gave British black music a soul of its own’ Jazzie B is well aware of how to fill a dancefloor and for just £5 early bird tickets are a snip, guaranteed to be a great night in Soul Heaven.
