Smooth jazz trumpeter Avishai Cohen and his quartet are set to launch their new album with a European tour this spring, calling at Manchester’s Band on the Wall. Entitled Cross My Palm With Silver, the LP follows the quartet’s 2016 debut, Into The Silence, also via the acclaimed jazz and classical label ECM, by sharing emotive, expansive and highly dexterous instrumental compositions. Cohen, who has been lauded as a prodigious talent since his pre-teen years, will be joined onstage by fellow rhythmic maestros Yonathan Avishai (piano), Barak Mori (bass) and Ziv Ravitz (drums).
