Win tickets: Girl Gang Manchester’s Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion screening party at The Lowry

The Girl Gang Manchester collective invite you to their grrrl power party, celebrating the awesomeness of 1990s slacker movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. There will, of course, be a screening of the classic comedy about two gal pals (Friends’ Lisa Kudrow as Michele and Oscar-winner Mira Sorvino as Romy) and their ill-conceived plan to wow their former classmates at their high school reunion. There will also be themed food and cocktails, and pop-up performances and discussions. Workshops range from “adulting” to “aspiration” and activities, from fortune tellers to make-your-own-friendship-bracelet sessions. To round off the evening, an after-party gives you the chance to let down your hair with dressing-up and dancing. Think creativity, collaboration, confidence and community – and a goodie bag to take home! The event is fully accessible and open to people of all genders and ages over 15. Some activities have limited capacity, but will be bookable in advance to ticket-holders.
