An early doors Soup Kitchen do from Gilles Peterson’s Future Bubblers mentoring initiative, priming musical stars to come. It’s an opportunity to hear more about the programme and what they do, and includes live performances from the ridiculously soulful [K S R], South London jazz artist Broadstrokes and mega-nice producer and DJ Inka.

An appreciation and celebration of Nigerian pioneer William Onyeabor, culling music from his nine amazing LPs plus associated Afro sounds. Selections from Will T (Grounded Sound/Discolypso) and Andy Peek (C’mon Feet).

Sat 9 Jun / Reach Out To The Community Fundraiser #2 @ Dulcimer Bar, Chorlton
Local charity ROC assist rough sleepers around Chorlton and local people in food poverty. It’s a smashing line up with DJs including Ruby Basson, Vicky Thirlaway, Pablo Blanquito, Ms Puerto Rico, Fritz Lakes, Picko-D, James The Cat, Chris Massey, Cervo, Contours, Bolts, Baloo  and Andy Shake’N’Fingerpop. Eva Bee and Ceeow host, plus there’s vinyl on sale from Dig Deep Records, Community and Lord Chester.
