Ed Gamble and John Luke Roberts | The Bread Shed | Tue 26 Jun | 7.30pm | £5/3
Another stellar double bill of comic talent from the good folk at XS Malarkey mixing the sublime with the ridiculous. The sublime comes in the handsome form of Ed Gamble and his new show ‘Blizzard’ with not much info to go on other than a list of accolades and TV appearances, Gamble is a stand up at the top of his game and mere syllables away from being a household name. The ridiculous comes from XS fave John Luke Roberts and his latest multi-faceted attack on the Edinburgh Fringe. Again not much info to go on but with JLR you can be quite sure it’ll be weird and brilliant.

Flight of the Conchords | Manchester Arena | Thu 28 Jun | 6pm | from £41.50
The long awaited return of New Zealand’s fourth most popular comedy-folk duo became even more long awaited when Bret (pronounced Brit) broke his hand before the Manchester gig earlier this year. Not ones to duck out of a commitment though both Bret and Jemaine are back on the road with their entire back catalogue of excellent songs that are also hilariously funny. Surprisingly there are still a few tickets left so if you can get to it then do so immediately.
