This weekend, Manchester’s street food park, Hatch, welcomes long-running clubbing institute, Aficionado, for a special Summer Sunday session. Having recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary, Aficionado is a much-loved clubbing concept based on extraordinarily high standards when it comes to dance music, paired with an open mind about where that music might come from. Cue incredible sounds from Lagos, Wigan or Tokyo, seamlessly blended by master selectors Moonboots and Jason Boardman. Live music lovers are in for a treat too, with an acoustic set of wide-screen serenades by Nev Cottee. Other attractions include a pop-up screen printing stall from Hatch’s Bee in the City artist, Kim Hubball. Screen print your own bee tote bag under her expert guidance for free at 45min sessions starting at 12.30pm, 2pm and 3.30pm. Plus there’ll be a brand new line up of street food and drink on offer at Hatch, with food from Mama Z Mama Z (cooking up Filipino delights), Wok’s Cluckin (pan Asian street food and a signature dish of Korean fried chicken with kimchi) and T’Arricrii (delicious Sicilian street food).
