Californian dance-punk cohort !!! (Chk Chk Chk) release their eighth album Wallop this summer, and will be kicking the BPM up a few notches with another visit to Gorilla this winter. Released 30 Aug via Warp Records, the new record was recorded at frontman Nic Offer’s Brooklyn apartment, and fans have already been given a taste of what to expect with new singles UR Paranoid, Off the Grid and Serbia Drums. The band head out on a world tour this autumn supporting the record, touring the US, Europe and Japan. Approaching nearly two-decades of funk-fuelled punk, their latest music follows 2017’s Shake the Shudder, with frontman Offer commenting on the new record: “Our process was to get loose and get into uncharted territory”. Support for their night at Gorilla is yet to be confirmed.
