Get in the mood for MCM Comic Con 2019 with a night of a fan favourite music and comedy from geek-centric band Blues Harvest at Deaf Institute. Fronted by comic book illustrator and writer Nick Brokenshire, the group are one of the most in-demand bands for comic conventions across the UK and beyond, having previously performed at National Space Centre, Disneyland Paris, Star Wars Celebration Chicago to name just a few. Expect a night of all the iconic, show-stopping music from Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars, Back to the Future, Thor: Ragnarok and Ghostbusters. Last year the band were joined on stage by Ghostbusters writer and singer Ray Parker Jr., and even Luke Skywalker counts himself as a fan, with actor Mark Hamill commenting on their song Tatooine Sunset: “Magnificent! I now declare THIS as my official, unofficial Luke theme song!”. Attendees can also look forward to a performance from special guests Pop-up Puppet Cinema, bringing their adaptation of Back to the Future to Grosvenor Street.
