Cloudwater Brewery has revealed plans to host their second not-for-profit beer festival at Manchester Central in February next year. The event, titled Family & Friends & Beer, originally took place at Upper Campfield Market last March and promises to showcase a huge selection of beers made by the best craft breweries from across the world when it arrives at its new home on Fri 21 and Sat 22 Feb 2020. In addition to featuring some stand-out tipple, attendees will also get the chance to enjoy a host of wrap-around events, including exhibitions, talks, discussions, seminars and music – as well as a variety of food options from the region’s best independent food traders. The two-day event will be split into three sessions (an evening stint on Fri/day and evening sessions on Sat) with each ticket costing £60 and coming with a free souvineer glass and the ability to sample each of the beers and events on offer that day. Last year’s festival welcomed 3000 visitors and 64 breweries – and raised £20,000 which was split between three different charities working to alleviate homelessness and poverty in Greater Manchester. Next year’s event looks set to do the same. Tickets are available now via the link below.
