West Didsbury celebration of its independent spirit is back at the end of August, beginning of September as WESTFEST takes over Burton Road once more. Local traders and local punters combine to turn the popular shopping, drinking and eating road into a festival with all those things and more. There’ll be burgers served in banana leaves from Folk, steel drums and the sounds of the Caribbean from Zaranda, glitter face painting, musical madness with Camden keg beer at Rustik, delectable cakes from the Dish and Spoon, plus karaoke and Thai banquets from Crazy Wendy. Something for everyone and a whole lot more!
