FutureEverything rolls back into town this week with a truly exemplary music programme joining the conference arm of the festival. Devoted, as ever, to all things future-facing yet smaller than usual – more of a interim festival, if you like, than the usual epic shebang – the FE music programme is a bit more edgy as a result – and Manchester Wire readers can win two tickets to each of four core music events at Islington Mill including Holy Other, Brandt Brauer Frick, Space Dimension Controller and Andy Stott. R & S records Space Dimension Controller (pictured) is a highlight. He’s hosting a massive dance party fuelled by his unique blend of techno, Eno-style soundscapes and droolsome beats to celebrate the end of yet another groundbreaking festival, while the FE season opens with a rare acoustic techno set from the game-changing Germans Brandt Brauer Frick PLUS a rare live set from Brainfeeder’s golden boy Lapalux. For more on Stott and Holy Other, see our preview. To win two tickets to each of the above shows (one lucky person will win the full set) simply email info at manchesterwire dot co dot uk with ‘FutureEverything music competition‘ as the subject line and your name, age, Twitter name, telephone number and the answer to the following question in the body. Competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 19 March. The winner will be announced on Wednesday morning.

Does the fourth dimension exist?

1. No. The dude out of Massive Attack was called 3D.

2. Yes – let’s dance!
