Vondelpark at Islington Mill

Sunday 5 May sees Sounds From The Other City return to Salford’s streets with a bunch of your future self’s favourite bands. For those that were at Sounds in 2011 you may remember Vondelpark absolutely killing it to a packed room at Islington Mill. They return to the mill the Thursday after this year’s SFTOC, having recorded two highly regarded EP and a debut album, Seabed, released recently on R&S Records to deliver an evening of wavy ambient soul music. With rave reviews from the likes of Pitchfork, Vondelpark look set to cement themselves as your favourite band from the present.
