Manchester’s underground favourites Animal Crossing have announced The Showroom, a huge event hosted in a disused car lot that has been transformed into a unique party space.
Featuring a bespoke 70s motel funk 360° set design to accompany the showroom theme, Animal Crossing, complete with a typically stellar lineup of DJs, will take over the unique space on Nov 27, kicking things off at 1pm and keeping things going right through until midnight.
Headlining the event will be the gods of groovy, stripped-back underground house music Apollonia. The French trio – consisting of Dan Ghenacia, Shonky and Dyed Soundorom have been bringing the afterparty sound to the world’s biggest stages since 2012. Joining them will be Hamish & Toby, currently at the forefront of a new wave of young British DJ’s thanks to their limitless selections and genre-bending style, with London native Christian AB and Animal Crossing’s very own Olli Ryder set to warm up proceedings.
On the event, Animal Crossing said: “To be able to utilise and transform these environments is something that truly excites us, creating experiences that cover the five senses adds so much to extra to what we know is possible for the dance-floor to hold. It heightens feelings knowing you’re in a special place, and that energy is shared by everyone in attendance. It’s not every weekend you get to adventure out into a car showroom, especially with the creative & musical talents that come with the show on the 27th November. It’s all extremely exciting and we can’t wait to be back surrounded by our nearest and dearest again.”
Tickets are on sale now, and can be booked using the link below. If you’re fast, you’ll be able to grab the first release batch for £17.92.
