Manchester’s leading bass exponents return to Hidden for a night of drum’n’bass, grime and jungle, with very special guest, SEBA headlining. The Swedish veteran will be playing a two hour set in support of his new LP, INGARO. He’s joined by fabric resident, Ila Brugal, known for her wompy basslines and grime instrumentals, making this night one of the most varied nights of the year so far, not to mention dubstep heavyweight, Commodo pitching in too.

After a killer party with Zenker Brothers at White Hotel, L, R & C return to the SOUP basement with charismatic Hessle Audio signee, Bruce, who tops the bill alongside Warehouse Project resident, Aletha, whose eclectic sets wowed at Mayfield Depot last season. They’re joined by Korzi, L, R & C resident.

Phil Asher Tribute | SOUP | Sat 5 Feb | £6

The loss of Phil Asher last year was a tragic and heartfelt moment for the dance music community, and the tributes have been equally moving. This night pays homage to one of the most influential producers of the last 30 years, with his pioneering broken-beat to his disco edits, remixes, and house classics, Asher pushed the envelope in every direction. Get down to celebrate his life with his close friends, The Mighty Zaf (Love Vinyl), DJ Craig Smith and Ifran Rainy.

Elkka had quite the year in 2021, releasing two debut EPs on Ninja Tune sub-label, Technicolour. Her pounding yet emotional productions have been setting dancefloors alight through lockdown and beyond, and her label femme culture has been doing bits since 2016. She brings her live show to YES, with support from Ad Hoc Records’, ZULA.

Haus22: Ben Klock | Joshua Brooks | Sat 19 Feb | £25

A man that needs no introduction, Ben Klock will be headlining Joshua Brooks this February with a three-hour set of pummeling, euphoric techno. The Berghain mainstay is joined by Haus22 residents, Bill Rogers and Stephen Haymes. Don’t miss this rare chance to catch the Klockworks veteran in an intimate space like JBs.
