Game-changers, innovators and new favourites—there’s something for everyone this July at Band on the Wall.
After five world tours, the KOKOKO! collective is back under a new guise this summer, honing in on an electronic style called ‘Zagué’ (always ready, watchful, on the lookout), the sound is one of the many underground genres of Kinshasa and is inspired by infinite electronic loops, distorted by an overpowered PA.
Touted as one of Jamaica’s most important and fascinating new stars, Jesse Royal is largely credited with spearheading the roots reggae revival. His astronomical rise has seen him working with the likes of Damian Marley, and guesting on tracks for Major Lazer and Protoje.
Seven-time Grammy-nominated Neo-Soul sensation Natalie Floacist Stewart arrives at Band on the Wall to celebrate the 20th birthday of the creative masterpiece that is FLOETIC. Coining her own genre that combined music, performance and spoken word back in 90s London, fans can celebrate, dance and pay homage to a genuine game-changer this July.

Another stellar product of New York City’s one-of-a-kind jazz scene, Kassa Overall takes the genre into new realms by feeding in experiential hip-hop production. Trust us on this one, it’s one not to be missed.
