Promising ‘a safe and low-bang firework display’ across three days, Oldham’s favourite family-friendly farm hosts a welcoming Guy Fawkes weekender with food trucks, LED robot light displays, mini discos and a relaxed, musical fireworks show each evening. The Farm Buildings will also be open, with animal feeding opportunities available throughout the schedule.
Beginning with a quieter but no less magical Little Sparks display before a firecracker show and the breathtaking main event, Buile Hill Park’s annual fireworks show returns for an evening of eclectic live music performances, festive snacks, fun fair stalls, glowing sculptures, marshmallow toasting and its thrilling fire walk experience.
Located on the far west fringe of Sale, Ashton on Mersey’s annual fireworks display promises a family-oriented evening of excitement, warmth and jaw-dropping illuminations on Bonfire Night proper.
Doors open at 5.30pm, with the bonfire exploding into life at 6.15pm and the full-force fireworks show kicking off at 7.30..
Featuring amusement rides, barbecue burgers, toffee apples and a lower-volume family-friendly fireworks display before the large-scale grand finale, Bowdon’s 56th Annual Bonfire is set to be one of Cheshire’s most elaborate seasonal celebrations.

For families looking for an earlier evening schedule, Shaw Cricket Club light their spectacular bonfire at 6pm sharp, with fireworks to follow at 7.30pm and fairground rides running throughout the evening.
Taking place at Woodbank Cricket Club from 6pm on Sat 2 Nov, Bury’s biggest fireworks event also features a steady supply of barbecue foods, pizza, hot dogs and turkey muffins, alongside hot and cold drinks and a variety of funfair attractions.
Tickets are priced at £5 per adult and just £3 per under-16.
Free to attend with food, drink and fun fair stalls spread across Cronkeyshaw Common, the official Rochdale Bonfire invites families to an early Guy Fawkes Night celebration on Thu 3 Nov. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, with a spectacular fireworks show to follow at 7.30.
Promising their ‘biggest event yet’ with food, drinks and upgraded pyro across two incredible displays, Stretford Cricket Club hosts an unforgettable bonfire night in partnership with Chorlton Fireworks. Returning to Stockport Rugby Club for its eighth year, the Bramhall Firework & Music Festival foregoes the traditional bonfire for an all-out party featuring a huge live music line-up hosted by DJ Darren Proctor, fun fair attractions, fire dancers and a breathtaking fireworks show set to the greatest hits of Taylor Swift.
Just over nine miles south of the city, the 1st Handforth Scouts stages their annual fundraising bonfire complete with hot and cold food, a well-stocked bar, music, games, tombola and an impressive fireworks display which kicks off at 7.30pm.
