A new multi-purpose venue and event space is set to open in the Green Quarter next month.
Love Factory takes over an 11,3000 sq ft warehouse on Dantzic Street, and will play host to live music events, exhibitions, art and theatre shows.
The space also boasts an on-site black-box studio named MOTORWORKS, that will deliver 360-degree visual and sound experiences, immersive supper clubs and catwalk shows.
Elsewhere, the SCRAPYARD area of the new venue features an elevated DJ booth overlooking an outdoor area that will be used for BBQs, daytime raves and street food festivals.
Love Box’s opening programme will be focused on the upcoming World Cup, being transformed into an immersive fan park that’ll be showing games on huge internal screens and additional projectors scattered around the venue. There’ll also be dedicated singing terraces, live commentary from talkSPORT, coaching sessions for local kids and a free-to-attend exhibition curated by Classic Football Shirts.
Tickets are priced at £5 for standing and £7 for seating, with £10 hospitality tickets also available to book.
There’ll also be an extensive independent food and drink offering, with local traders like Ate Days A Week — who’ll be bringing their award-winning pies to the venue — ensuring no one goes hungry. A full list of local traders is to be announced soon.
