Unsure where to watch Southgate’s side definitely bring the World Cup home this winter? We’ve picked out a few of our favourite Manchester spots that’ll be showing the tournament.
From tap rooms and Football Italia-inspired sports bars to big open beer halls, it’s time to dig out the vintage England shirt and stick World in Motion on repeat again.
A new multi-purpose venue and event space is set to open in the Green Quarter this month, just in time for the World Cup.
Love Factory takes over an 11,3000 sq ft warehouse on Dantzic Street, and will play host to live music events, exhibitions, art and theatre shows.
Love Box’s opening programme will be focused on the upcoming World Cup, being transformed into an immersive fan park that’ll be showing games on huge internal screens and additional projectors scattered around the venue. There’ll also be dedicated singing terraces, live commentary from talkSPORT, coaching sessions for local kids and a free-to-attend exhibition curated by Classic Football Shirts
Tickets are priced at £5 for standing and £7 for seating, with £10 hospitality tickets also available to book.
One of our favourite openings of the year, New Century will be showing England’s games under the unique setting of their stunning, revamped disco roof. Tickets start at £6.63 (inc booking fee) and for that, the team will even throw in a pint.

Another newcomer, Green Arches is a new brewery that recently opened up on Red Bank, just a few doors down from where Beatnikz once operated. They’ll be showing the games in their taproom, and as if by fate, their new lager is set to be released on the same day as the first game. No tickets, just turn up and find a spot.
Few would argue that Track are one of the city’s finest breweries. They also happen to have one of, if not the best taprooms in the city. It’s a no brainer really, isn’t it?
Hosted Depot Mayfield, the home of The Warehouse Project and Escape To Freight Island; Road to Victory promises immense production combined with the latest interactive technology to deliver an ‘incredible multi-sensory football experience this winter.’
As well as multiple screens including a massive 140 square meter screen football fans will also be wowed by a fully immersive light show which will add to the electric atmosphere for England’s biggest World Cup matches. Standing tickets are a fiver, with tables for £90.
Libero intertwines a passion for great pints and vintage football in an effortlessly cool fashion. The end result is a cosy, charming craft beer bar, surfaces adorned with eclectic swathes of sporting memorabilia of yesteryear — think Football Italia meets Pomona Island. It’s a tiny gaff, so message ahead to book a spot.
While Society is understandably better known for serving up some of Manchester’s best street food, the multi-kitchen food hall has been kitted out with huge screens for the tournament, meaning you can grab a hefty side of Futból with your wings.
Another one of our favourite Mancunian beer spots, ABC taproom have installed a MASSIVE 200-inch 4K projector. Combine that with a fresh pour of their signature Juice Springsteen and you’re onto a winner.
Nell’s will be showing all England and Wales games at all of their sites (Kampus / Common / The Beagle and Port Street Beer house). Bookings are advised, but walk-ins are welcome subject to availability.
To make things even better, their usual happy hour will be running, meaning between 4pm-7pm, Mon-Fri, and you can get any 14″ pizza for £7.77 weekdays until 4pm. Order through the app and you don’t have to miss a second of the action.

Proper Munich beer hall vibes, Pie and Ale is one of our favourite spots to watch football week-in-week-out. Along with pretty much a perfect football viewing setup, their pies aren’t half bad either, as the name suggests. The place does get busy for England games, so you’ll want to book well in advance. Drop them a message on Insta to secure your spot.
