From Mon 1 May, cosy-contemporary coffee bar and patisserie Embankment Cafe Co. launches a vibrant, refreshing range of food and drink ahead of the warmer months.
Situated next to the sleekly elegant CitySuites Aparthotel, Embankment Cafe Co. introduces a new, light seasonal menu to enjoy in a ‘relaxed and versatile’ environment, with remote work access and deep, plush sofas overlooking Manchester Cathedral.
The revamped spring menu features a selection of indulgent, delicately crafted classics exclusive to the cafe, including Banana & Walnut Cake, Biscoff Shortbread, Lemon Meringue Tart and a White Chocolate & Raspberry Cookie, all created by renowned on-site pastry chef, Gregoire Marcadon.
Promising the pinnacle of summer produce, the savoury menu features a new Vegan Club sandwich stuffed with avocado, red peppers, tomatoes and vegan mayo, alongside a Spiced Veg & Mango Chutney Wrap, generously filled with red cabbage, cucumber, spinach, peppers and a rich, fruity chutney.
For post-work hangouts, early evening get-togethers and Saturday afternoon sharpeners, Embankment Cafe Co. also serves a range of cocktails, including a ‘sensational’ Espresso Martini made with fresh aromatic house coffee, and an all-new Matcha Martini, which substitutes the espresso shot for matcha powder and a lavish white chocolate liqueur.
With summer on the horizon, Embankment Cafe Co.’s quaint yet generous outdoor seating area allows visitors to unwind under cloudless skies and soft golden-hour sunsets in a charming courtyard set back from the commotion of Chapel Street.
Come the warmer weather, there is a generous outdoor seating area in the charming courtyard – set back in a calm spot away from the hustle and bustle of Chapel Street.
Embankment Cafe Co. is open Monday to Friday (7am – 7pm), Saturdays (9am – 5pm), and Sundays (9am-3pm).
