Infa Red boss takes the helm at this final L, R & C party of the year, which sees them take over the Eagle Inn for the first time. He’ll undoubtedly be spinning his well-established take on UK techno, with broken kicks, wonky soundscapes and wobbly basslines all present in equal parts. He’s joined by a host of Manchester’s resident selectors, including Steam Radio’s Zuri, hot off the back of her Keep Hush debut at the Loft last month.
After the raucous opening weekend of Repercussion Festival, WHP return for their annual season opener, which sees 6 stages in action, including the intimate on-site pub complete with cheap as chips bar, the Star and Garter. Topping the bill in the depot are none other than Honey Dijon and The Blessed Madonna, two of the biggest DJs around right now. They complete a bill of left-leaning house and techno, a perfect pairing for Mayfield Depot’s high-end production.
Seb Wildblood is one of the UK’s classiest exports when it comes to deep electronica, a sound he’s been spearheading since 2015. His label, All My Thoughts, embarks on a mini-tour of Europe, which brings along signee Tom VR for the ride, whose techno ear-worms are inescapable right now, as well as San Fran based, Indian duo, Baalti, fresh of the back of their new single, Staying in Touch, which came completed with a Tom VR sunrise mix. Family vibes all round.
Blues Kitchen invites dub veteran, Aba Shanti-I for a late Sunday afternoon into evening set of the deepest cut acetates around you’ll hear anywhere. He’s joined by Nucleus Roots, a reggae band who have been holding it down for over 10 years. You’ll be in bed by 11, so no excuses necessary for your boss on Monday.
