Free things to do in Manchester this week FT Wilson’s Social, Lockup Vintage and more

Shake up the working week this Tuesday with Lockup Vintage’s bi-monthly film club showcasing the most loved movies from the 00s.

The next showing, taking place this week at the Whitworth Locke, is none other than the iconic 13 Going on 30 complete with free drinks from Steep Soda and free slices from Nell’s Pizza.

And, to top it all off, fashion lovers can also peruse the rails of beautiful vintage clothes inspired by the film to shop.

The incredible Manchester-based collective which provides high-energy beats wherever they go, SHEwillprovide, turns two this Friday so swing by the YES rooftop for a late-night almighty bash to celebrate the milestone.

Northern Quarter favourite, Wilson’s Social, have teamed up Classic Football Shirts for a special kick-off event to celebrate the start of Euro 2024.

Wilson’s will be running drinks offers and putting together some Scottish and German food and drink specials for fans to enjoy on the night including German bratwursts with sauerkraut, Irn Bru Margaritas, Scottish Whiskey sauce burgers and Hofbräuhaus style beer steins for the opening game between Germany and Scotland.

Everyone that comes to watch the game on the night will also be entered into a free raffle to win an original Germany 1994 Jurgen Klinsmann shirt (Worth nearly £200.00) with the winners picked after the final whistle.

What She Said is a Manchester-based DJ who wanted to create a queer-run club night that has a dance floor that’s free from judgement, and prejudice, and is just somewhere you and your friends can be your true self whilst having the best time.
