Well it looks as though we’ve got a hot new venue – and one that is a train ride away from Manchester city centre. After enticing MONEY to give the rainy city a swerve on their last UK tour, Hebden Bridge Trades Club is at it again – this time inviting in album of the year contenders Hookworms to play. Following the roaring success of debut LP Pearl Mystic, the band have recently signed to Double 6 records – an imprint of hallowed indie label Domino – and this should prove to be an incredibly special show – especially as it is going to be sold out months in advance. If you’ve not listened to Hookworms yet, they’re dense, psyche-y and, well, they’re just incredible. Have a listen for yourself, and then buy a ticket – quick – below.
