Soundscape: Truly Madly | TBA | Fri 22 Nov | £11

House and garage promoters Soundscape return to Manchester, this time finding a secret location for their knees up with a true selector Truly Madly. The house and techno collector has been doing his thing since the early 90s, with his timeless taste really finding its place in recent years, with his delicately pumping vinyl selections wowing heads all over Europe.

Oneforty: Junki Inoue + Enrica Falqui | Stage & Radio | Sat 30 Nov | £12.50

Now in their third year of parties, Oneforty keeps up the consistently culty bookings with Japanese house DJ, Junki Inoue, a vibrant selector who often is tagged as a ‘DJ’s DJ’. Is there a higher compliment? He’s joined by Berlin-based DJ, Enrica Falqui, one half of duo Eris. They released their debut EP on Falqui’s new imprint, Plexus 4 this year.

Amber’s Launch Party | Amber’s | Thu 5 Dec | £5

Amber’s, a brand-new club just off Oxford Road is set to open with a few twists – the headliners aren’t announced, and it’s always £5 in. A highly refreshing take on programming and we expect their launch party in December will go in with a bang. The only hints are done in genres, in this case, it’s disco, techno, funk and soul. We have our suspicions who it may be…

The new space is helmed by Fabric and Rinse FM resident Hutch, Un.titled Studio co-director Sam Tunstall, and Nothing Forced creative agency founders Jeremy and Lawrence Abbott

1 Circle Square, 3 Symphony Park, M17FS
Erol Alkan | YES | Sat 28 Dec | £23

After last year’s electric pre-NYE shindig, Erol returns to the Yes Pink Room, this time with a 3-hour set special, focusing on his inimitable ‘Trash’ era, his club in London which saw him pioneer the forefront of the Electroclash scene for 10 years. Expect all the classics from 2000-2004 – LCD Soundsystem, Klaxons, Bloc Party… This has got nostalgic Christmas vibes all over it.

Floating Points (Live) | 02 Victoria Warehouse | Sat 1 Feb 5pm | £29.75

With another blinding techno album under his arm – Floating Points tours his expansive live show once again, as Warehouse Project take over Victoria Warehouse for the evening. The A/V show looks even more spellbinding, and we can’t wait to hear ‘Ocotillo’ continue to break boundaries in the flesh. Not to be missed.
