Madre team to launch new pool hall and tequila bar concept

The team behind the immensely popular Mexican spot Madre has announced details of an exciting new concept that will launch this December.

Salon Madre will operate as a pool hall, with room for four tables, a tequila bar and screens showing Lucha Libre wrestling and live American sports, right next door to Madre’s restaurant at Kampus which opened last year.

The sister site will be serving the fan-favourite dishes that have helped cement Madre as one of Manchester’s best eateries, including daily rotating tacos, loaded nachos and burritos.

On the bar, alongside 100 variations of specialist tequila and mezcal, there will be frozen margaritas, draft wine, Palomas, local beers and other Mexican specialities.

Salon Madre will open at Kampus on Fri 6 Dec.
