Camera phones have become so commonplace at gigs and clubs now that people forget what it was like on a night out before you had to pose for pics every four seconds and then cringe the next day as you detag yourself from said potraits on Facey B. Meat Free don’t believe in that kind of ‘partying’ – they believe in dancing. Kick off your shoes, muss up your hair and get on that damn dancefloor for six hours of no-nonsense, lively, quality underground house, techno and bass for you to shake everything you’ve got at. Keeping the philosophy of ‘you get what you pay for’, the vibe at a Meat Free Party is to donate whatever you think the night is worth, be it a drink for the DJs, fifty pence or a fiver. With all proceeds going to the next party, we’re sure you’ll want to pay, so you can go back again for Meat Free silliness.
