Garage rock band Brown Brogues will play the March outing in Bench Self Made’s lunchtime gig series. The Wigan duo, comprised of Mark Vernon (guitar) and Ben Mather (drums), have drawn on fuzz, grunge and 1960s garage to nurturing a passionate fanbase over the past three years – during which time they’ve played SXSW twice and circumnavigated the UK with The Kills as well as becoming one of the bands to watch locally. With three sold-out 7-inches to their name, this free show celebrates the recent release of their debut album, Born to Lose, on Ultra Cool.
