A Thousand Words Launch at Chuck Gallery (pictured)
Longsight’s Chuck Gallery launch their latest exhibition on Saturday, which collects work from photographer Benji Reid. Reids’ work often plays with cinematic and aburdist themes, drawing from his love of French slapstick filmmaker Jacques Tati and classic Hollywood adventure films. However, A Thousand Words seems a much more serious affair – exploring the highs and lows of emotions that can’t be spoken, but can be captured on camera. At the time of writing, this launch event is listed as Sold Out, but you can catch it at Chuck until Sunday 28 July.
Sat 22 Jun, Chuck Gallery, 166 Plymouth Grove, Manchester M13 0AF, www.eventbrite.co.uk
