On the hunt for Mother’s Day inspiration ahead of this weekend? We’ve picked out a few of the places pulling out the stops to help celebrate the mums of Manchester…
Over in the chic surroundings of Embankment West, Head Chef Marika Healey has crafted a special Mother’s Day three-course set menu. Aptly titled ‘I Got It From My Mama’, the £32pp menu includes indulgent starters like Pan Fried King Prawns, Goats Cheese and Pickled Leak Terrine and Sauteed Wild Garlic Mushrooms.
Diners can choose from hearty mains that include a Chargrilled 5oz Rump Steak, Oven-baked Cod Fillet or Pan-roasted Corn-fed Chicken, along with a sumptuous veggie option in the Roast Vegetable and Vegan Cheese Wellington.
Decadent desserts close things out—the crowd-pleasing Sticky Toffee Pudding, White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecake or for those after something slightly lighter, the Coconut and Mango Panna Cotta. For an extra treat, use the code MCRWIRE in the special request section when booking and mum will get a free glass of Prosecco on arrival.
Serving up Bottomless Brunch until 3pm, head to Cottonopolis, select your bottomless drinks package and your brunch dish is included.
Choose between brunch staples like Eggs and Avocado with a Cottonopolis twist, or something totally different from the brunch norm, like Char Sui Glazed Pork Sando.
From 4pm, Cottonopolis will also be serving up their ‘Taste of Cotton’ set menu, where you can tuck into seven tasty dishes (featuring sushi, bao buns, dumplings and dessert) for £25PP – with vegan and pescatarian options available too.
Floral Collective will also be there all day, offering guests the chance to purchase beautiful bouquets and blooms—you’re also welcome to pre-order bouquets to their table for a little extra surprise.
From lunch ’til late, kick back to a fitting soundtrack supplied by the Dream Girls Haus Band, The Feel Good Choir and resident DJs.
Albert’s Schloss have also teamed up with their friends at St Germain for the day—and will be offering all mums a St Germain Royal upon arrival to start the afternoon of indulgence. With an array of delicious cocktail offerings, guests can also enjoy an Apricot & Elderflower Mother’s Day spritz, with St Germain, white grapefruit and apricot, soda topped off with prosecco.
South American concept, Peru Perdu, are set to launch their Bottomless Chandon Garden Spritz Brunch this Mother’s Day weekend.
From £45 per person, guests can enjoy a two-course Peruvian inspired brunch and bottomless Chandon Garden Spritz—a unique alcoholic beverage, created by the Maison’s winemakers from natural extracts of orange peels, herbs and spices.
Peru Perdu’s signature Pisco Sours, bottles of fruity and fun Pornstar Martinis and refreshing Bloody Marys are also available to order.
Champagne, Salmon, Cheese, Charcuterie are all on the menu this Mother’s Day courtesy of natural wine favourites, Le Social.
Capacity is very limited and bookings are mandatory. Tickets are priced at £25 per person, and are inclusive of all the food and a glass of champagne. Anyone wanting a vegetarian option is advised to contact ahead.
NAM will be offering a special set menu, complete with their spectacular Vietnamese roast, dessert of choice and Prosecco for just £25pp.
NAM’s celebrated take on a classic roast features a choice of 5-Spice & Soy Braised Tofu, Half Roast Chicken with NAM’s Signature House Rub or Crispy Skin Char Sui Pork Belly. All served with sticky rice or crispy roast potatoes, Goi salad, shiitake mushrooms, Asian greens, savoury Vietnamese doughnut and topped with pho gravy.
For dessert choose from an indulgent Miso Chocolate Brownie with Cointreau ice-cream and Vanilla Cheesecake with orange and lime coulis

Alongside their now-famed Sunday roasts, Ducie Street Warehouse will be pouring bottomless ‘Mumosas’ for the special lady at the table for the entire first hour of the booking.
