January is traditionally the month of great food and drink offers in Manchester, but there’s plenty to enjoy this February too. To prove our point, here’s our round up of the best on offer including 50% off food at Albert’s Schloss and Deaf Institute, treats at Siop Shop (pictured), and a mooted soft launch at Aiden Byrne’s new restaurant, bar and grill, 20 Stories, in Spinningfields. We like the look of Lunya’s lunch tapas deal too.

Albert Schloss – 50% off food until Sunday
Jay Rayner’s favourite Alpine-themed party haus serves peanut butter cronuts, giant sausages and fresh Pilsner Urquell, shipped several times a week from the Czech Republic. To get you in the party mood, tables have ‘Prosecco Please!’ buzzers and you can get 50% off your food bill until Friday.

Deaf Institute – 50% off food (Mon-Fri) and buy one main, get one free (Wed)
Although it’s part of the same Mission Mars group as Schloss (above), Deaf has a very different vibe when it comes to food. Expect great breakfasts, and lots of tasty vegan stuff, including bowl food, flatbreads, home made falafels and pimped fries. The Wednesday offer is ongoing. The 50% off food offer is Mon-Fri only.

The menu isn’t great if you’re trying to avoid sugar as a family but this is a fun venue, nevertheless, with plenty of pre- and post- lunch activities on offer including the Imperial War Museum North and a visit to the Manchester United superstore.
