We’ve teamed up with the Science and Industry Museum to give away the ultimate day of play for all the family.

The winner will get access to both the world-first exhibition, Turn It Up: The Power of Music, and Power UP, the ultimate gaming experience, along with £50 to spend in the museum cafe.

Turn It Up: The power of music

Taking visitors on an interactive journey through what music means to us and the lives of others, Turn It Up: The power of music invites guests to play with beats, melodies and harmonies and explores how technological advancements continue to push the limits of music.

Get hands-on as you explore sound and its ability to inspire, shape and alter. Discover weird and wonderful instruments, take time to relax in an immersive installation and uncover deeply personal stories that shed light on our unique relationships with music.

Power UP

Dubbed the ultimate gaming experience, play the very best video games from across the past five decades, from Pong to Pacman, Mario to Minecraft, plus a selection of games created right here in Manchester.

Face off against friends and families in multiplayer showdowns, rediscover your childhood favourites and test out some of the latest virtual reality experiences.

With over a hundred different consoles on offer, visitors to Power UP can play all day, or take a break to explore the museum before coming back for more.

Power UP is open Saturdays and Sundays during term time, and daily during school holidays.

The Museum Cafe

Serving up a delicious selection of hot and cold drinks, pastries, sandwiches, cakes and snacks, the museum cafe ensures you stay fuelled up for your day of discovery.

The café is open from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, and 9.30am-5pm on weekends, so you can start your morning with breakfast, take a break for lunch or indulge in coffee and a sweet treat.
