Creative calling? Check out Manchester School of Art’s Postgraduate Open Evening

If you’re considering a postgraduate course in Art, Design or Media, the Manchester School of Art Postgraduate Open Evening is a must. It’s an opportunity to check out work by the current crop of MA students in their end of year show (read all about the School of Art’s MA Show here) as well as meeting staff and the artists themselves. An added bonus comes in the shape of possible free wine, soft drinks and snacks. The Manchester School of Art offer a range of part-time and full time courses in subjects including: Fine Art, Curating, Craft, Fashion, Graphic Design, Art Direction, Illustration, Interior Design, Product Design, Textiles, Animation, Filmmaking and Photography. Famous graduates include photographer Martin Parr (who has a new show at Manchester Art Gallery from November – click here for more), director of the Alexander McQueen label, Sarah Burton,  and designer Peter Saville.
