Invisible Women at Irish World Heritage Centre
The Irish World Heritage Centre presents this screening as part of LGBT History Month, charting the lives, struggles and friendship of Manchester-based activists Angela Cooper and Luchia Fitzgerald. Covering 50 years from the nascent underground gay scene to modern day, Invisible Women uses these womens’ stories to bring fresh focus to Manchester’s history of gay liberation and advancements in treatment of domestic abuse survivors.
